Cybersecurity Innovation & Risk: Is Stepping on a Landmine Inevitable?
Cybersecurity has long been an issue for companies as we sink further into an increasingly digital world. Rather than being a tangential issue for boards of directors, cyber assets are now a regularly discussed topic. The advent of generative artificial intelligence has thrust security issues even further onto center stage. How is the next generation of technology impacting fraud, policy issues, and the macroeconomy?
The SVDX annual dinner has featured some of the most sought-after voices in board education, corporate governance best practices, and current affairs confronting business leaders. We use the annual dinner as a celebration of boards of directors, and an opportunity to help directors and others to network. For the 2023 annual dinner we are pleased to feature Michael Hinton (Supervisory Special Agent, Cyber Branch of the FBI) to discuss the scope of innovation and risk in cybersecurity within today’s tumultuous economic and societal landscape.
