Evan Epstein
Evan Epstein is the founding Executive Director of the Center for Business Law (CBL), and Adjunct Professor, at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. Professor Epstein is a corporate governance expert and has advised founders, executives, directors and investors for over 17 years in Silicon Valley and internationally. He has been retained as an expert in corporate governance litigation both in the U.S. and abroad, particularly involving fiduciary duties of corporate directors. Evan is also the founder and managing partner of Pacifica Global, a corporate governance advisory firm based in San Francisco, California. In addition, Evan is the founder and host of the Boardroom Governance Podcast and the Boardroom Governance Newsletter. Evan was recently named one of the most influential leaders in corporate governance by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) as part of their 2023 NACD Directorship 100™, an annual list of leading corporate directors and governance advocates.
Heidi Roizen
Heidi has achieved success as an entrepreneur, executive, director, venture capitalist and educator. She has also held positions of leadership with a number of industry organizations, and is a recognized and popular spokesperson for the technology industry. Today, Heidi is a partner with leading venture capital firm Threshold Ventures and serves as a board director for privately-held portfolio companies Upside Foods and Polarr. Heidi is also a member of the board of directors of Planet PBC (NYSE:PL). She also leads the Threshold Venture Fellows program in the Engineering Department at Stanford University and serves on the Advisory Councils of Stanford's Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence and the Stanford Technology Ventures program. Daniel Siciliano is a successful technology CEO-founder and entrepreneur, as well as Vice Chair of the board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and a recognized expert in corporate strategy and governance, capital financial markets, executive compensation, and technological disruption (including fintech, AI and cybersecurity). He is currently Chairman of SVDX, board member of the Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation, chair-elect of the Council of Federal Home Loan Banks, and a fellow at Stanford University.
