Ms. Vitale’s experience spans 30+ years in accounting, auditing, and governance. As a former PwC Partner and the accounting and auditing leader in PwC’s Office of the General Counsel, she effectively mitigated firm-wide risk by defending high-stakes regulatory and litigation matters. As the U.S. Assurance Learning and Development leader, she developed and executed strategies to develop competencies for thousands of professionals, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance engagement. In her role as an audit partner, she advised clients on complex transactions and financial reporting, guiding them through significant business events. Currently, she chairs the International Panel on Accountancy Education and previously led the International Accounting Education Standards Board.
Ms. Vitale is a certified public accountant, NACD Directorship Certified, and a qualified financial expert. She holds an MBA with a finance emphasis from the University of San Diego, a Bachelor of Science in Combined Science from Santa Clara University and has completed governance and artificial intelligence courses at Harvard Business School.
